Hi, does anyone know which demo platform i can download which works on a macbook pro ? ive tried fxcm and forex.com but neither seem to work.

For Mac you will want to use either a Java platform such as Oanda, or look at installing an emulator software to allow you to run a Windows-based platform. A free emulator I highly recommend is Virtualbox.
