I hope someone can help me here. I am trading during the day, 0900 AM - 0100 AM GMT. I would like to know if you could expose some facts or experiences to recommend me the best times to trade the EURUSD.
Are there any no gos? e.g. this evening it was dead at 20.00.

Think about it in “Sessions”.
You can expect the most liquidity and hence the best tradeable set ups during the European session. From 2:00 a.m. EST to 12:00 PM EST. There you cover the Frankfurt open, the whole London session, and the New York/London overlap.
Just avoid big impact news releases times, and you’ll be fine as long as you set your method and money management rules defined.

Are you sitting in front of your screen for 16 hours? Just look at the average pips per hour and you’ll notice the most liquid times to trade. I’m based in UK too, but don’t trade from 10pm GMT.
