Is it really dying? I feel that people are still spending their time on Facebook.

Yeah I agree! Just one look at my relatives and my friends who are on their phones all day every day on Facebook and Instagram and I know they’ll be around for quite a while still. Not so sure about Libra though. 
Compliance, data management, and regulatory constraints are among the main reasons why MasterCard decided to leave Libra – the Facebook backed stable coin that has yet to be launched later this year, revealed MasterCard CEO Ajay Banga in an interview.
Banga commented that key members of the Libra Association refused to assure him that the business would be conducted in a manner “fully compliant with local law.”
This does not show Facebook in a good light at all.
