The SEC needs to still formally anounce that it’s accepted the application from VanEck before the 45 day review period starts. This isn’t CBOE/VanEcks’ first attempt, with previous attempts denied. However, with the recent approval of two Canadian bitcoin ETFs (Evovle and Purpose ETFs), the timing might just be right.
