I’ve got it running along w/ the SmartFX EAs on my live and two demo accounts…
what strategy to use this robot? it uses indicators?
awesome keep us posted!
S1L1KON, I was checking how your account went today from the SmartFX EA’s and noticed a few non SL entries. Upon further looking I realized you were also trading the blackbelt EA. Just curious about how well you feel it jells with SmartFX trading the same pair. Do you get any errors of it trying to trade opposite of a currently open pair? Also, the non stop loss entries would concern me. I like to have that safety net. Have you seen any issues yet?
Tim
I haven’t noticed any errors, but I have to admit that I don’t check the journal on a regular basis. My IBFX account is US based, which means both the EAs are forced to trade in the same direction, though I’ve noticed they don’t always have trades running at the same time. Black Belt uses the 30min timeframe, so my hope is that it balances out the shorter trades by the SmartFX EAs.
I haven’t seen any issues w/ the non-posted stop loss, but a lot of other people (myself included) would like to see this added as a feature, ideally something that people could set on there own as an emergency in case of MT4 crashing, OS or VPS issues.
I put labels on my the Magic Numbers to help sort which EA is doing what, the other Magic Numbers that are on the account are from a bygone era when I didn’t really know much about EAs and what to expect.
One last thing, the contest that VantageFX was running on myfxbook is closed, and with the contest closing my demo account was shutdown; so I’ve removed it from my myfxbook profile. I got a phone call from them yesterday offering me the moon to sign up, but their nearest MT4 server is in London (they have no North American presence) so I told them I wouldn’t be opening an account. They had really good spreads however, and their volume indicator feed was on par w/ IBFX so if anybody reading this is thinking about using them and lives in the Southern Hemisphere I would recommend them.
bbea has been running a few days now.
10 total trades net pips -30 overall account loss of -.24%

Really to early to form any meaningful conclusions
After a week of trading bbea it is up 0.06% in my account!
Of course i’m running 0.01 lots so the % is kinda useless, but the number is displayed in green on myfxbook so i’m happy.
