Am I the only one excited that this ea has finally come out???
I’m syked. I will have it set up and running, hopefully by Monday. As usual I will keep you guys updated.
I installed it Thursday night, right now it’s only running on my demo accounts. I’ll paste the links in a few days, when it takes some trades

Are you guys using these EA’s out of the box unmodified?
Picked this one up as well and excited to see how it pans out. Havnt really dug into the settings yet but ill likely be running it on default with the exception of lot size at 0.01
Still torn if I will replace fgb on my main account with bbea, run them both at reduced risk or just put bbea on my second account. I’ll have to watch the results and run some of my own backtests to figure this one out.
I got very different results from VantageFX compared to OANDA, I’ll post them when I get a chance, but on OANDA, a one year back test lost ~29% while on Vantage it earned ~50%.

Yeah, the really weird thing is that no matter the settings on OANDA, the results are always the same (MM on or off?). It’s only a one year backtest, but it’s something to look at.
I’ve attached the results as attachments, had to block out the License number.
I’m going to email the developer and see what they say…

No need to contact the developer, I think it’s because it’s the weekend and OANDAs spread went to 100 (5 digit broker), while IBFX stopped @ 21 (5 digit) and VantageFX is @ 12 (5 digit). During the week session, OANDA’s is usually better than Vantage’s, so I’ll have to backtest it again tomorrow once the markets open.
Still, gives a good picture of what happens when your spread is insanely high…

If i recall correctly Oanda is a dealing desk broker…could that be influencing the trading signals on the bbea backtest? Have you had other ea backtests go wonky through them?
I do have an oanda account…with a balance of $0.01. I actually like their web based trading platform better than mt4…but I horribly digress.

Of course, just as I finished editing the previous post I received an e-mail saying there is another update! This is the 2nd update the developer has published (3rd released version). I’ll run my backtests again, one year and 4 year and publish the results. After that I have to stop ignoring the wife and kids…
I wonder why the spread goes like that in the first place, it’s not like you can trade on the weekend? I’ve actually started the process of opening a real account with them, I uploaded all my ID yesterday. I’ll let you know how it goes once I get on their real system, their demo platform seems to be swamped with traffic…
Actually with Oanda(non mt4account anyway) I can open or close positions over the weekend …but only at a crazy spread.
Concerned that i didn’t receive any emails about an update, will investigate and redo my backtests on Sunday night
I haven’t had a close look at this ea. I just walked in and noticed Eduard send out an update. I guess I’m lucky I didn’t get hit with 3 updates. Anyway the trade off seems fair now I get two live licenses for the price of 1 
Here are some updated backtests which were done with the latest version of Black Belt (released today, his 3rd release), interesting that the EA really starts to make money from 2008 on. It’s also interesting to note the difference 0.9 of a pip can make in the long run, as spread for the backtests on IBFX were 21 (5 digit) and 12 on VantageFX (5 digit) when the tests were performed.

I was going to start a thread on Black Belt EA on Monday, but JK has done it for us. Thanks Johnny…Will be interesting to see how this EA works.

I hope this ea is decent too. Backtests look good. If it is anything like fgb there may be some drawdown period but overall it may be very profitable. Only time will tell.
