The zip seems to be corrupt … I dl it twice but neither of them would open. Please upload it again.
I just tested the zip file and it is not corrupted.
Babypips is doing weird things with zip files these days, they open for some people and not for others. I can’t figure out why…
I suggest that people don’t download this EA, anyway. While the virus scanner doesn’t pick up anything it’s still not a good idea to download EA’s containing .dll files from strangers. This is NOT just a standard MT4 EA file, and it could be dangerous.
Also, the original poster is selling EA’s on his website (advertised in the zip file) for $500. If this EA really worked he wouldn’t need your $500.
Plus y=λ0 +Σλj×Φj(wj×x) is just a bunch of gobbledegook that has no real meaning, it’s just meant to sound fancy to impress you.

The 2009 statement on your website claims a 553% return so far this year. The live statement shows your account balance at $5447.
With those numbers you should be a millionaire in late 2011, so why do you need to “populate your trading account?”
Sure someone that can understand y=λ0 +Σλj×Φj(wj×x) can understand compounding returns??
If you take a look at the lots used in the statement it should be clear that the maximum risk was used to show off the system’s versatility and safety. I hope no one in their right mind would use 2 full lots with a 5K account. Smaller lots would be used in actual trading. The live forward-test statement will begin to populate on the site this week. We have not opened up the EA for sale yet as the links on that section of the site do not work - we are revealing it to the public now so to speak. Thank you for your interest.

I am newish to MT4 and EAs but your Blackbolt EA looked interesting so I downloaded and installed it according to the instructions you gave and it appears to be installed OK.
I also set MT4’s Tools/Options Expert Advisors/Allow DLL Imports (did I need to do that?).
In the tester I specified the BLACKBOLT_NN_EA and in the symbol EURUSD, Period 5M. I set Optimisation = Profit Maximum (I guessed something needed to be set here), though I did not tick the optimization box on the Settings tab. Somewhere I changed a setting about training, to turn it on I think.
I then Started it. The progress bar went across twice (took about 2-3 minutes) then there was a beep, presumably to say it had finished but at the end there is nothing on the chart and when I look in the Results and Graph there is nothing there. In the Report it says Bars in Test = 747107, Ticks Modelled = 32301930, modelling Quality 89.99%, Mismatched charts errors = 5, then there are no numbers in any of the remaining fields on the report such as gross profit/loss, number of trades atc.
In the journal it says:

I tried to download it and there is only one file inside the zip archive called blackbolt ea
any ideas ?
in fact, just tried to download some other files from this site and they were corrupt too.
changed browser to google chrome and they came down fine.
