I posted the ToC for the 2nd ed. of Day Trading and Swing Trading the Currency Market. The most recent edition is the 3rd edition, but itā€™s the 2nd ed. that is ā€œavailable.ā€

Hopefully this will help people make a choice.

Based on the table of contents my vote is for The Forex Trading Course: A Self-Study Guide to Becoming a Successful Currency Trader by Abe Cofnas.

Dead Tree version available on Amazon for ~$25. The PDF can be ā€œfound.ā€

Trading for a Living is really good.
Havenā€™t read Naked FOREX yet.

Oops okay, Iā€™m late to the party as usual (kinda like my trading). Have we decided on the Abe Cofnas book?

Happy to be a part of this effort. I am leaning towards Abe cofnas book.

Come on, letā€™s get the reading startā€¦ Canā€™t waitā€¦ Lol

The Forex Trading Course sounds good to me! Plus, it comes with assignments to help lock in learned material.

One of the things to keep in mind is that, like Day Trading and Swing Trading the Currency Market, the current version of The Forex Trading Course is the 2nd edition, and the version that can commonly be found is the older first edition.

The Forex Trading Course 2nd ed. is $75 on the Wiley web site ($30 on Amazon). I am under no illusions that most people will buy the dead tree version. I just donā€™t want to be in a situation were some of us are reading the old one and a few are reading the new one.

Do we want to do The Forex Trading Course 1st ed?

I am fan of reading it is a nice way to get knowledge , But i am not eager to spend a lot of money on courses . I can get knowledge as per my need through internet or other ways so need not to join any special course,

ā€œCourseā€ is part of the title of the book. And the 1st edition of the book can be found on the internet as a PDF.

OK, this Monday (itā€™s a holiday for us US guys) Iā€™ll kick off the Book Study - The Forex Trading Course by Abe Confas thread.

Like I said, the PDF of the 1st edition of the book (the 2008 edition) can be found on the internet. If you go to /r/FOREX, click on List of Resources, and then look for MISCELLANEOUS RESOURCES, the 3rd link down will take you to where you can find such things.

I have posted the Table of Contents for Part 1 of the book. What Iā€™m going to need from you guys is each of you to sign up for one chapter. Choose a chapter, read it, and then in the new thread post a detailed summary of the chapter. Quotes (with page numbers) would be nice.

If youā€™re willing to contribute to the new thread, sign up below
