Hi @tomo22, That will be a good start for you.

Do what ever you like, but make sure you have milestones. Everything must be done according to a plan.

Strengthen interpersonal skill and network are very important. No matter how good you are, without these twos, you are nothing. If possible, keep yourself away from the “dark side”. The dark side is very attempting, but you won’t survive in a long run. Being honest in business will slowdown your progress a lot, but when you have credibility, on right moment it will boost all of your hard works. :slightly_smiling_face:

@TYGMedia, do you think its required i learn all coding types before starting free lancing?

i will stay away from the dark side haha.

In the future i think i want to start up my own property company. I am studying this currently and have a few good networks i can talk to.

currently learning the basics of HTML

Hi @tomo22 , you don’t need to learn all languages. You have to survey, what are the most popular tools in your market. You need to learn fast, base on project. Try to imitate some of them as your learning curve.

If you have interest with front-end, you need to learn HTML, CSS, javascript, typescript. Many frameworks, such as react, bootstrap, view.js, any many more are good to strengthen your foundation.

I’m confused here What Do you mean front end.

I’m specifically going to learn web devolopment. I know I’ll need to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript too.

I’ll have a look at those currently I’ve learn basic HTML

And I’m understanding how a website functions with these commands.

I’m going to take a look at some real websites and have a look at their inscription and look and what they have incorporated.

Hi @tomo22, In web development, there are 2 sides, front end or part of development related to user interface (UI). The other side will be back-end which handling data and rule.

There are some developer handle both of them, so called full stack developer. You need to choose, in which part do you want to involve in.

@TYGMedia, thank you. Ill research both ends now.

also im thinking about starting trading with real money.

ive already got an acct with peperstone a standard acct which ill trade 0.01 lot to start with to get adjusted.

@TYGMedia, Hi. Ive looked into comparing both front and back end and i think i want to do front end as it is more my interest. Maybe back end education can be another day.

I wanted to ask? what is the point of being a website developer freelancer, when there’s companies such as shopify and WordPress who literally build you a website?

being able to learn SEO can be extremely helpful i believe but im stuck on this question i asked above

Hi @tomo22, Pepperstone is a premium broker to me. Good choice! But why don’t you start with a cent account? It’s safer for you. In cent account, 10 USD becomes 1000 USC. When you have mistakes, you only risk 10 USD. In standard account 10 USD is not enough. As I know Pepperstone requires min 200 USD equivalent.

You can try Exness (cent) or XM (Micro Account), when your skill is proven, you then start with standard account.

There are many companies, different scales and needs. So wordpress, shopify and many others such as joomla, drupal, bootstrap are still dont enough. Sometimes we need to do custom. Here a specialist web designer will be required. Using wordpress, shopify need more resources since they both use databases to run. Some scenarios just don’t fit. Such as company campaign landing page, promotions and probably dynamic html page about product introduction.

@TYGMedia okay ill have a look at exness and xm.

Aware that

Exness cent account, min vol = 0.01 lot. It’s equal to 0.0001 standard lot.
XM Micro account, min vol = 0.01 lot, It’s equal to 0.001 standard lot.

hi @TYGMedia

do you think its better to learn design on wordpad, shopify and others or invest the time into web devolopment learning HTML, CSS and JS for a custom site?

for being a freelancer

@TYGMedia so pretty much its a micro lot divided by 100 for exness.

i will need to referesh myself with this

If you want to be pro in this field, this is what you should do. Even now, I keep learning new programming language as passion.

Correct

@TYGMedia

Im just not too sure what the demand is currently. I know ecommerce is on the rise of course, however, i think consumers are more interested in paying for someone to design a shopify or wordpress store rather than building a custom made one.

if you are to build a custom made store does this require both front and back end? or does it only require front?

i may learn code and programming as a passion as i am currently quite passionate in understanding how everything is done. However, im finding im really unsure of what i want to do.

there is so many models out there right now like free lancing, dropshipping, Affiliate marketing so many i just may need to take some time to research these

Hi @tomo22, most customized project need both front and back. So becomes a full stack will be beneficial. When the project becomes too big, you have to split the actors.

You need time to know it by doing it  You will find which one fits your personality and skills. Everything needs dedication. Don’t be to greedy to try all of them, it will waste your time. You have to do market research what will be in the future. Have a deep though that can you still reshape yourself to adapt the changes.

@TYGMedia hello,

i really like the idea of dropshipping. Ive tried this before but to be honest i have never really given it my 100% effort.

I like being able to sell a product and having my own website. So that might be good, but id like to first research the other models

only thing is alot of ecommerce videos on youtube are filled with videos talking about how u can make 10k a day in 7 days if you follow this dropshipping guide. just a load of ■■■■■■■■ so you cant pretty much trust anyone

Hi @tomo22, when you start a business, it will evolve itself. You need to follow the market. For example, I have a friend from Hongkong. She started hers business from drop shipping. She did it for fun, unknowingly, now, she has warehouses to keep hers products. She still drop shipping, but it’s not the only one. She keeps growing, adapting market condition.

Drop shipping may be your entry point, but dont limit yourself. You need to arrange your position be strategic in the market. For example, you make campaign to sell certain products, driving SEO to your benefit, making deal to company to sell thing exclusively, making trend base on seasonal product, creating good customer experience by purchasing stuffs with you, many more :slightly_smiling_face:

Many marketing channel, nowadays, you can sell it from each of them. X, youtube, tiktok, instagram, facebook. So, something that was looked simple becomes big opportunity … all of them only by how we organize and execute our plan

You simply send this guy to the broker that just takes his money and go away? No way!
