can anyone recommend a decent broker that allows scalping? (trading from min to secs) with a low spread as 1p???

Yes I can because I use them - GFT forex.
Their spreads on the majors are often down to 1 pip and I do similar scalping with them as you describe without problems.
Their charting program is especially excellent for candlestick trading.
Do you use GFT? I seem to recall that you earlier used an Australian broker that used the dealbook platform?
I have been doing some search on the net and found forexwatchers offering spreads from 0.5p and oanda had 0.9p.
I have an fxcm micro account and I do some scalping. Orders are executed instantely. Personally I like their charting program except that there is no 4 hour chart. I’m going to get their mobile platform this week and try it out, hopefully it works well.
just input H4 on their time period and you’ll get the 4 hour chart
The Australian broker is Kinetic Securities of Sydney and the Gold Coast.
They are an introducing broker for the GFT platform, Dealbook, which is the one I use.
That way, I keep my money in Australia.
They also give you the demo platforms on an indefinite basis.
Kinetic Securities are expanding rapidly and are now introducing brokers for GFT, Interbank FX, FXCM and one other that I cannot recall.
They also deal with equities, futures and a host of other derivatives.
Are there any extra fees/ do they put you in a special “scalping account”?
Not at all.
Just like normal trading!!
