Bullish engulfing on H1 but not on M30 - NZDUSD

Hello Eveybody,

I am investigating bullish engulfing for the use in my strategy. Yesterday I noticed that NZDUSD had quite a rally and so I was pleased to see that the H1 chart showed a bullish engulfing pattern:

But then when I check the exact same spot on the M30 chart it did not show this pattern. When you look at the candles it is obvious why, but does this mean that those patterns are less reliable/useful on shorter timeframes like M30?

You will find that all the timeframes look very different - That’s why it is important to use multiple timeframes - You see things which are not obvious if you just stick to one or two.
