Can Anyone Help Please?

It must be annoying to see posts from someone like me who is clearly a total noob, but I’d REALLY appreciate some advice.

  1. I’m unsure whether I should go web based or MT4, I’m not even really sure what the difference is?
    2)I’m trying to pin down three demo accounts to trial, to get me started.
    I’m in Australia. I’ll be starting really small. Can ANYONE recommend a broker? My head is spinning and I’m starting to think I’m doing too much reading up but I really don’t want to just dive in without doing my homework.
    I was looking at FXCM but have changed my mind.
    Any advice regarding OANDA, IG, or LMFX? and are there others that are recommended for a look?

  1. Web version is good for checking positions when you are away from trading desktop or on the go. I believe browser ping is higher so execution will be slower.
  2. Go with Tickmill (to be precise their Tmill UK branch). They are regulated by UK FCA and has been flawless in services for me so far.
