Hi All,
I´m new here and i just finished the school of Pipsology. My plan is to make an EA too backtest my strategy but i have a little problem with my EA.
I made an EA on Expertadvisorbuilder I think some of you know this site for making your own free EA.
The problem is that i constantly getting an error when i want too test it with the strategytester in Metatrader.
Can somebody tell me how i can solve this problem? I saw a video on Youtube where someone was doing the same thing as i did but his EA worked.

Dear hatsjikide,
I’m afraid many free EA websites didn’t update with the newer version of Metatrader… that means, the EAs madae in those websites simply are not compatible. Currently, I think there’s no way to make a free EA without learning to code. Sorry for that.

Use the cumulative experience and start from there never start from the beginning
If EA work why there is no EA at all that has a long record of profits?
I think you are wasting your time in EAs but the most important thing do all your experimenting in DEMOs
in regard to your problem i think its better to post so people will check it and reply to you the cause of the problem

MQL4 and MQL5 language knowledge base is really best and one of the easiest in my opinion to understand, if you forget something, type in google and you have the clear easy to understand answer. It’s awesome that you want to code. I believe it will be more fun for you when you understand the code and write your own ideas from scratch. Learning MQL4 was one of the most useful and fun things in my life.
