Credible (won’t steal my money), user friendly, and low spreads.
I’m using oanda, I’m starting to doubt their credibility, the spread is always fluctuating, usually to very large amounts,
I usually set my entries below resistance areas, so if the market goes through them I will enter a trade and go with the flow, 3 times since last night my trades have been entered in the resistance area, even though one of them was at least 10 pips below the resistance area.
I’m getting sick of their company, they have an answer for everything, even when one time I was in a position I never traded into. the trade was like 23377 something I always go into trades with an even number of units, try explaining that to their customer service.
Anyways the main reason I want a diffirent broker though is the spreads, they’re killing me. i’m not kidding when I say i’m paying at least 20% of my winnings into spreads, factor in losses and I’m barely making anything.
Sounds to me like a case of I can’t trade so I blame the broker.
If you think Oanda’s out to get you, why don’t you compare their charts with those of other brokers and you’ll see they’re all the same. The trades you lost with Oanda you would have lost with any other broker too.
Another thing, Oanda’s spreads are among the best in the business.
Quit whining and try to realize that the problem lies with you, that’s my friendly advice, but I’m sure you’ll take it as an insult.
I’ve been trading with ibfx for two years. Thier spread are faily consistent. I havn’t noticed them fluctuating a whole lot unless it’s around a news release.
P.S. trade higher time frames, like daily and above, there is more pips easier trading, especially if you are using S&R.
Now why would I take that as an insult, you only said I can’t trade.
My main problem with them is the high spreads, I could have made more money than I did today because of them. Regardless I did make money so don’t worry
Responding to someone that you don’t know with the assumption that they are a chronic complainer makes you look dumb and for the record take your advice and shove it. I’m not trying to be rude either, since I don’t know you. I’m just trying to be blunt like you
Oh and Phoenix thanks for the ADVICE I’ll definitely check them out.
Do compare options, however from what even I’ve seen Oanda has better spreads than other brokers. In some cases by quite a bit.
I’m currently weighing my options between IBFX and GFT if that’s any help to you. Both seem cream of the crop with what I’ve heard but it’ll only take live trading to really decide between the two for me.
