Can you cook a potatoe once it grows roots

Technically they’re a “stem tuber”, not a root :wink:

You can cook anything, but should you eat them is more the question…lol. Be wary of green potatoes though.

I did happen to read today that once they begin to sprout if you see a green layer under the skin that you should cut that part away and discard it. The green layer contains a toxin. It could make you ill but you would have to eat a lot of it to die.

I know that you can PEEL your potatoes twice??? Most of us do it here on a fu*king daily basis!!! LOL!!!
