I know this may seem like a very basic question to most, but could someone better explain to me how to calculate how much a broker is taking per trade.
Is this Via commission or lets say a stock was 0.0010 would you be charge 0.0020 and this would be their spread?
Thanks

So in spreads say the buy offer price is 100 and the sell offer price is 98 that 1 pip the 99 in the middle is the profit your broker makes.

Okay great thanks and that’s why you start off in a deficit when putting a trade on
Yeah so that deficit is the price your broker charges for dealing the trade for you.
