Hi there dose any one know why when you look at a chart and the price is flickering up and down it sometimes flickers above or below the extent of the price bar but the bar doesn’t expand to where the price at the side has flickered to
If you why this is please let me know

Yes, I see this when watching live prices on my broker’s platform. Sometimes price quotes move further than the chart. It is like there is a built-in delay on how far the chart will print, compared to where price actually went.
Always remember that the prices your broker gives you are what they choose to trade with you at - the quotes are the prices you will trade at, NOT the chart price.
Thanks have been using MT4 and was looking at a funded account but they use a thing call direct Market access and I was just wondering if I would need to adjust my trading to allow for these price fluctuations outside the chart if you have any knowledge on this that would be great.
