I have always kept a close eye on the DX (NYBOT:DX) when making forex trading decisions, as well as the VIX and a few others, but would like to chart these myself. I know that the DX can be traded with a futures account, but does anyone know of a software package and data feed that I could use to chart these myself live, rather than looking at a feed on a website, or watching others analysis of it.
I use MT4 as my primary forex platform, but assume there is no way to get a futures data feed. Does anyone have some ideas/suggestions on the best way to do this? I would prefer a free/continual demo account on someones platform, rather than opening an account with a futures broker. Though, if I have to go that route, is there anyone who could make a suggestion to which broker would have the best charting package???
