I need a 12 hour chart both bid and ask based, and daily charts both bid and ask based using the EFX GROUP(MB TRADING) data feed for currencies for the charts and than trade through EFX(MB TRADING). I only need 1 or 2 price bars to start trading so I do not need large historical charts. Why can’t I build the 12 hour and daily bid and ask based charts 1 bar at a time from the EFX data feed from QUOTE TRACKER? Am open to another way also.
Any way to do this with Quote Tracker with the EFX data feed it gets. Am looking for a free or very cheap way to do this. EFX does not offer 12 hour charts and only bid based.
So you have a Tradestation feed for the charts and you place your trades with EFX.
Are your entries and exits of your trades gotten from very exact and precise price levels.
The reason I ask is mine are and I am not sure how it will play out using a bid chart gotten from the data feed from lets say Tradestation and using EFX’S bid price to enter an order. They would not be at the same price level if you would put a EFX bid chart beside a Tradestation bid chart, Efx’s bid price really did not hit the bid price level on the Tradestation chart. Hope this is making sense.
Will welcome other views on this concern when trading exact and precise price levels from two different data sources, one for the charts and the other from the broker.

Most pairs are identicle. Some pairs are off by a consistent pip or two. I just make the adjustment in the order to match the chart. Its not a big deal.
I use EFX to execute orders and MT4 to look at “price action”, I have to agree with daedalus… EFX’s charts suck.
quick question… what is a better forex chart starting time 12gmt or 12est???
I like 4hr charts and dailies, currently I trade gmt+1 charts (that one hr difference could makes reversal candle look like a random candle) I know the question might seem silly but its kinda important to me…
do most people quote their chart time in eastern time??
