Coach Zulutrade trading journal - Target 500 pips per month

ZuluTrade

Wow Vincent, those are impressive results you’ve got there!!
And you make 4.3K in 16 weeks…nice stead results…though a bit risky to my taste, still cant say that i am not seeing some potential in there - i am bookmarking you for further reference

No problem Eddy.
Must effectively assess the performance according to the risk taken
My goal is 500 pips per month.
I hope to integrate the top 100 in the rankings by this summer.
Bye.
Vincent

Modest goals usually mean as well long-term profits
good luck trading! I will be following you.

what’s happend to you trading system? are you going to trade again?

I doubt there will be any problems with his trading. I think it was mostly his trading style that i was going to master in a way from what i remember :57:

Reckless trading detected. :))

That could be the problem. It’s a pity that so many trader start good, but in the end they crash down. ZuluTrade should start with a certification process for any signal provider, that could massively reduce the failure.

Well the ranking takes care of that more or less: the worst you are the less people follow you. Fair enough imo.

I think the algorithm behind that ranking system isn’t that good. At the top of that ranking you see a lot of traders who make massiv winnings, but their risks are to high. Take a closer look at Kama-Spot or Saved FX. Once he was the star at ZuluTrade with over 30Mio assets under management. Now he have a massiv drawdown.

The main problem with social trading is that traders and follower just want to make money really quick. But If you really want to make money from that you have to think in long-term categories. Trying to double your money in a day is financial suicide and you better go into a casino. Thats my opinion on that.

well, the ranking is computer generated as we all know, and should use it as indicative measure only!
one should always place some objective though behind it !
and no matter what happens with the trader - a follower should always use zuluguard!!

Somehow one must filter out the gamblers from the traders. I believe traders will protect capital and achieve steady growth and in the long term make you money. Other then you Abax I still believe the first filter should be if they are trading their live account with a green dollar sign showing. Secondly trades need to be reviewed because there are still gamblers within the mix. 99% of the sp’s are gamblers and that’s why Zulu created Zulu guard to protect the followers money. I’ve looked at thousands of SP’s and only found azar consulting and fx primus as potential candidates although azar seems to have changed his strategy recently so be careful. Instead of following gamblers we should all learn to trade and understand what makes a trader successful. Once you grasp this concept now look for providers who seem to be following these same guidelines.

I notice those are Demo account and was sceptical bout live account will there be any different Demo vs Live?

@gkawa22 your absolute right. thats the way i do it.

@feins A Demo Account is only “playmoney” and a Live Account is someone who trades with real (own) money.

In Zulu I notice I try with demo account are getting profit. But wats bout live account. I scare that live account will had a different result compare to demo.

I can’t see any different results in my live account compare to the demo account. You just have to look for the right broker with a small slippage.

No there is no difference in live accounts compared to demo. As you see, demo results are final including all spreads. The only difference that might happen is actually the slippage which are broker’s attribution.

that’s why we use the demo for testing all the time.

I like the way you trade. So far sound money management skills keeping your losses small and your gains larger.

Eddy

What kind of slippage have you experienced on Zulu? I know it depends on the broker but reading the forums some are experiencing 20 pip slippage on occasion which is totally ridiculous. I can see it happening during high volatility news events.

Hi eddy I’m totally agree with gkawa statement here. As if we r gaining small benefit but been aging high slippage at the end we r having a lost in paying than gaining.

guys, not much, up to 3 pips (very rarely) , but im ok with whatever happens as aaafx give me full refund on market volatility (of course audited and reasonable). Have not experienced it though yet.
gkawa, are you sure it’s 20…more like 2 it totally reasonable…but 20 pips slippage is not accustomed …maybe he made a typing mistake or was a spammer or something. anyhow, there is this slippage table you can consult with each broker and provider.
