Coding/instructions after a trade has been triggered

This may not be possible and I admit before posting this but I do not have much expertise in this area so if what I am asking is totally stupid I apologise in advance.

What I am wondering is if you can somehow use the equivalent of an IF statement to set an instruction for a trade once it is up and running.

I have no desire for automated entry. I am using price action and volume price analysis with some success at the moment and entering using my own criteria manually.

What I am wanting to do is automatically move my stop to break even at a certain point. This is mainly due to not being available at the computer all day with work.

As an example:

I manually enter 2 long positions on CADJPY

When My target 1 is hit one position will close. Obviously it will do this automatically through metatrader.
At this point I would like my second position stop loss to be automatically be moved to break even.

EG. IF price = 99.475 then move SL to 97.658 etc.

Obviously this would be different for every trade.

Is this possible?

I have thought about price alerts but i work in a school and cannot get my phone out during lessons.

If your first target and stop are the same distance from your entry point, you can probably use a trailing stop order. Besides that, does your broker offer a mobile trading platform that you can check during breaks?

This will do but you need to figure it out:18:
