Hope you are all well.
I’ve been looking to get into trading for a number of years. I have dabbled in the crypto markets but feel like I want to position myself more as a forex trader. What a time to decide to do this!! Haha.
I’ve recently been watching a lot of I.C.T’s videos on youtube as I’d heard a lot of people recommend his work (and I’m sure I heard him recommend here)
Any help, guidance or support will be much appreciated.
Hi and welcome. Personally I used ICT’s YouTube content and it resonated with me. It’s maybe worth skimming through the BP course just to refresh certain terms perhaps but if you’re already onto ICT then you’re no doubt looking at advanced market structure etc. What I will say is practice is what makes it click. You have to see the things taught with your own eyes on charts you choose. This builds confidence to not only see it but act upon it with time.

Is there any free practice platforms you would recommend? I’m currently only trading with a very small amount as practice so no big loses but they still hurt haha

My timing to get into forex in the middle of a war hasn’t been brilliant timing, markets acting in ways I’m guessing they wouldn’t normally do!

Yes practice on Trading View to follow the charts for free and then stick to using a demo account for now. No need to use live funds at this stage in my opinion. Set the right habits from the start there and transitioning live is much easier.

Depends on the country you are from and what you are looking for in a broker. I can only speak for what I went for so I recommend you look in the reviews section on here and check out other brokers too. But I use a few brokers for varying needs which are IG, CedarFX and IC Markets.
Again, while these work for me they might not be what you’re looking for so make sure you DYOR
