Forex trading is speculation on the exchange rate between two currencies. If you think the exchange rate between for example the USD and the JPY is going to rise, you would “buy” or “take a long position” or “go long” on USD/JPY with a broker. If the exchange rate rises the broker pays you in proportion to the size of your position.

The price chart might be what makes you think the exchange rate will rise. Or you might be more convinced by the economic reports concerning the US and Japanese economies and their respective central bank interest rates.

We are not buying and selling currency.

i think you already got the answer by the speech of tommor , thanks Man for your nice reply , with exact information about trading life. you always done great job.

the concept of Forex trading is very simple , this is a currency market and first of all you have to make sure the real knowledge about it , and after all you have two option buy and sell, execute according to your knowledge. thanks

At its simplest, forex trading is similar to the currency exchange you may do while traveling abroad.
A trader buys one currency and sells another, and the exchange rate constantly fluctuates based on supply and demand.
Currencies are traded in the foreign exchange market, a global marketplace that’s open 24 hours a day Monday through Friday.
All forex trading is conducted over the counter (OTC), meaning there’s no physical exchange (as there is for stocks) and a global network of banks and other financial institutions oversee the market (instead of central exchange, like the New York Stock Exchange).

Its even simpler than this - we’re betting. I don’t say we are gamblers but we’re certainly betting - lot of people don’t like that image.
