Probably not exactly the same but some traders are much more conservative than others. For instance some traders only risk .25% of their account, not the whole 2%(or 1%) maximum that is recommended. Other traders risk much more like 5% on a single trade it just comes down to what their risk appetite is.
Craziest trade I ever did? Had 500 in a micro account 400:1 margin, leveraged the whole thing (almost) 170 lots. Made 10 pips, that’s 170 bucks in one trade. I really, really, really don’t recommend trying this, I got extremely lucky but wow the adrenaline rush was awesome.
