Continuing my education into forex

I’m trying to learn how to use trading robots simply because I don’t have the time to spend trading. I’m hoping I can learn something new here and get my career as a forex trader off the ground.

Welcome. So you don’t have the time to spend on your future “career”. Your options are:

1 Do nothing (recommended if you don’t have the time to spend on a future career. How much time do you spend on your current career, and what makes you think you can profit from any pursuit that you don’t have the time to spend on?
2 Buy a robot trader. They are called Expert Advisers or EAs. Use the search button top right next to your avatar and see posts about EAs or trading bots or robots
3 Ask someone else to trade on your behalf. Either just give them your money (and expect them to lose it all) or sign up to one of the many EA folks on here who tell you to contact them on telegram or facebook so they can rob you blind and no forum member can see how they are conning you.
4 Do a bit of deep thinking about your opening introduction statement. You could spend an hour or two reading what other traders do, what they think about “quick money” or “get rich quick schemes” and then decide whether you still wish to try Forex, and which strategy to deploy.

Just remember some old sayings like:
I am really lucky. The harder I work, the luckier I get
Success is not difficult but the problem is it is dressed up in coveralls and looks like hard work.

Forget it. If you expect to make money you have to get up from your couch and start treating fx seriously.

Test EA in demo or backtest it before using it in a real account.

If you are new and think to make good money then you need to learn forex first and do think of using EA in the beginning of your trading period.

Definitely a solid idea as using an EA is understandable if you don’t have the time to spend trading yourself, however, I’d be very careful when selecting one because they can cause you to lose money. I don’t really trust them enough to use personally but also have more time to trade.

Are you looking to create your own with your own strategy or purchase a pre-existing one?

A demo account is the best place to learn forex properly.

In my opinion trading bots are not the way forward unless you’re either monitoring it or have paid a large sum to get a really good one (not talking a couple of hundred pounds here)

I think your best option is swing trading as you dont have to monitor all the time
