My name is Pip Surfer and I like sea, sand, and surf. And systems. I like mechanical systems. More specifically, I trade the Cowabunga System whenever I can.
The system is great for newbies out there who had just finished the School of Pipsology because it’s ridiculously easy to follow and it also requires patience and discipline. What better way to get your feet wet than to apply everything that you have learned, right?
I may not update my trades as regularly as the other FX-Men do, but hey, you can always catch me on my brand-spankin-new Twitter and Facebook accounts. Thanks to my new iPhone 5, I can now get in touch with you guys as often as I can.
So if you have any questions, comments, or any tips on how I can improve my surfing skills, feel free to hit me up!
A shameless plug for Twitter & Facebook as well as the casual brag of “I’ve got an iPhone 5” - you squeezed it all in nicely
A great post though. A growing number of new-comers appear to be in the Forum without going through the school so your post in this section of the Forum is well placed. Hopefully they will take the time to go through the school but if not, your system at least gives them an idea of what they should be doing & I’m sure that they’ll appreciate that.
I haven’t tried the Cowabunga System but I certainly remember reading through it when I did the Pip School (which wasn’t that long ago). It was the 2nd or 3rd system that I’d seen & as a Newbie, it made perfect sense. So although I can’t endorse (as I haven’t tried it), I certainty would recommend it for other Newbies to look in too.
Instead of blindly following the expensive “fail-proof” systems out there, I encourage forex newbies to try out a simple system first. This is so they’ll have an idea on how to actually trade.
Pip surfer I can’t say thanks enough man. After going through the school of pipsology I started trading the cowabunga method. Demo. Then read tymens BBdna thread with gravitons additions. Traded that demo for a while. Those two systems together gave me an understanding of how forex really works. I prefer your system but found the h4 chart enough information to trade on. When cowabunga indicators line up ill ride the BIG wave,h4, til the break!(ema crossover). All I apply from tymen is the no trade zone on the bollinger bands. I can’t watch a m15 chart due to work/fishing/a.d.d/drinking/etc…horses for courses as our friends overseas say. you’re a legend around here for good reason and I wish you a fulfilling prosperous life from the bottom of my heart bro.
P.S. got the iPhone 5 myself, can’t beat it!
Offshores and glassy to you dude, hope I don’t get caught on the inside man, my advise to newbies is to paddle out when it goes flat instead of sitting there wondering why the hell the locals are paddling to the the horizon when theres a perfectly good beach break setting up on the inside there… lol! peace and pips man
