Crossing over- from demo to live

Hi all.
Can I get some feed back from those of you who have made the jump from demo to live?
How long did you practice?
Did you have a good strategy…plan in place?
What were your goals? Were they accomplished?
If you could look back, what would you have done differently?
I don’t know if I’m too hard on myself. I have plans in place, but, it seems like I’ll never get there. I’ve been trying for 50 pips a week consistently, for me to make the jump. I’m wondering how long of a track record I need to prove to myself when I’m ready.
So, if I could hear from some experience, that should help me.
Thanks.
Mike

All the answers to the questions in your post are in these forums, just take a look at the bottom of the thread under

However the answer to “when to start live trading” are not on the board, they are in you.
It makes no difference to when I started, he started or whoever, it all, the same as trading, rests on you.
It is when you are ready.

Thanks!
That’s good.

Real trading is difficult from demo . it involves emotions a lot . we can not get as good results as we were doing good in demo . SOme times our strategy do not works. Demo gives us better understanding of forex trading but in real we have to do much trading to be a profitable trader.

Thank you!

Yes right! Demo account trading is very important for the new trader. They have to understand the value and steps about market. But the LIVE account is also very important for trade. You will not get the feel without LIVE. You also need the real experience about forex.

Be careful. You have the possibility to lose!!
