Saw on Sep 21’ that a question about this has been asked and moved by the admin to the dev team.
So I wanted to know if its an option or is it not gonna happen at all…
I really like this websites idea of teaching and writing everything for free but as much as I want to learn my eyes are burning from the light (white) theme…

We’ve got a deeply integrated website with a log of moving pieces. Unfortunately, sometimes this customization comes with complexity when wanting to roll out news features such as themes.
At this time, all I can say is we’re still looking into the possibility of making a darker theme. We’ve recently made some changes to the Forums that might make that easier to accomplish, but I can’t give you a clear answer unfortunately.
I will however update you as soon as I get something concrete.
