What is it the main the difference between this 2 type of traders?
We know both do trades using small time frame charts and they get a positive or negative outcome in a very short period of time.
So, how do you differentiate them?

A day trader usually closes there trades by the end of day and may keep a trade open for several hours. A scalper opens and closes there trades as quickly as they can open/close open/close open/close… In very short time frame…
But what is the point of knowing this info… ?
This might also be helpful @jorgemontero! If you want, there are also personality quizzes there that could help you determine what kind of trader you are. Then again, it’ll be up to you to decide.

Scalping literally means taking the first profitable tick to exit. So, e.g. you buy at 1.1306, and you would sell as soon as the bid gets to 1.1307.
Daytrading for very small gains or on a very short time-frame is not scalping.
I’ve been scalping futures recently. The usual trade lasts less than a minute.
Loved! This is good stuff, Thank you!
Super happy to help! I wish you all the best in your trading journey!
