Discipline about rules

Am having issue with following my rules my ego always over power me due to how my strategies or believe work always all time and mostly everyday in the market but I don’t want that trying to prove to market am always right even though most times it always end in profit and sometimes lose but I don’t like it I just want to follow my rules and everything perfect it’s always killing me

Many traders face this struggle, especially after a few strong trades that build confidence. The key is accepting that discipline is more important than being right. Even if a setup often works, breaking rules creates habits that will hurt performance when the market changes.

Try writing your rules down and reading them before every session. Commit to following them exactly for a set number of trades, not just one day. Keep a journal of every time you break a rule and note what emotion caused it. This awareness helps separate ego from execution.

Everyone has this problem at the beginning. Just create the system and better cut your participation
