I am a new demo trader. This is my second day. My question is- If I open a Pending Request for a trade and close my computer will the trade happen? I did a pending sell limit trade. but 30 minute after the trade opens I close my computer last night. But today I saw that The pips didn’t move since I shut my computer. Will you please explain that should I always have to keep my computer on if I open a pending request for buy or sell?
No, that is not necessary. Your broker will (or at least should) fill your order even when you are offline. As long as you have placed your order it should be triggered. Having said that, keep in mind that in demo no orders are actually being filled and that you do not trade. You have no access to the markets. Your broker should still show a pending order as filled.
