Do you ever strengthen your position once in a trade and the trend is confirmed?
For example, placing a buy bet at the breakout and then later in the trade adding some more buy bets?
The advantage being if you are trailing a stop loss, this new bet can immediately be turned into b/e and even profit?
Sure. People do it all the time. You just need to make sure you find a way to do it within your overall risk management scheme.
Strengthen position.
Trail SL to be point.
Once original bet’s SL has reached the strengthening bet, trail both SL’s equally together.

Like I said, sure, but with money management considerations. If you are trialing a stop but adding to a position you need to account for what that’s doing to the risk you’re taking.
