Helloooo! :blush: This might be a weird question but I’ve actually been thinking about this within the context of different professions. :confused: I’m not sure if I’ve announced it enough lol but I’m a frustrated feature writer. But with the rise of AI, I feel like people have been dismissing the need for actual writers more and more. :confused: I’m not sure how the other professions are being affected, but I wonder. Do you think AI will eventually replace forex traders? :open_mouth:

Hmmmm. :open_mouth: Interesting. Although I do agree that, at the moment, AI is not smarter than humans, I’m not sure I agree with being able to crack the market. :sweat_smile:

AI will be able to replace the majority of “ok” traders that are employed by a lot of companies. The AI will be cheaper and will deliver better results. But, for the top flyers, the ones with lots of money and income in the forex markets, it will be used more like an indicator for the human traders to use in their line of work.

Definitely AI is changing the game in Forex but I don’t think it’ll replace traders because it doesn’t have the flexibility that a person has. Maybe it would be more in a cooperative way, working alongside each other.

AI can certainly assist forex traders by analyzing data and identifying trends, but human intuition and strategy will always play a key role in decision-making. It’s a partnership, not a replacement.

Hey, that is an interesting question. AI is on its way to shake things up but I don’t think it will replace us traders. It can spot patterns and crunch some numbers but I don’t think it will be able to predict the market and price fluctuations like we do. AI can be used as a tool for some part of the trading but the final decision should be ours!

I feel AI will improve trading and set new standards in trading. I believe we can expect some big changes in a decade but it can’t replace traders.

That makes sense. :open_mouth: Once AI becomes even more developed for forex trading, it make sense for companies to make the switch because it’s cheaper to maintain and not as prone to errors. :thinking: I guess it’s a good thing I’m not employed to trade, otherwise I’m probably going to be among the “okay” or even poor performing traders who will be replaced. :sweat_smile:

I totally get where you’re coming from, We all are seeing AI taking over in so many industries, but when it comes to forex trading, I feel like it’s more of a tool than a replacement. Traders still need to make judgment calls, adapt to unpredictable markets, and manage emotions, something AI can’t fully replicate. So no, I don’t think it’ll replace traders anytime soon, but it can definitely make trading smarter and more efficient.

I don’t think AI can ever replace forex traders. Yes, AI can be helpful in automating strategies but AI can never predict the market and act instantly when needed.

Totally get your point. AI is great for automating stuff and crunching data super fast, but it definitely can’t predict the market or react to sudden changes the way a human can. The market’s unpredictable, and sometimes you need that gut feeling or quick thinking that AI just doesn’t have. I think AI’s best as a tool to help traders, not replace them.

It’s a weird one. Automated algo computer trading has already risen. You won’t find many floor trading jobs these days. But I think the previous comments are spot on. AI will still need human prompts. So if a human is involved then the market will still be driven by human irrational emotion and behavior. It’s the reason why price action is still effective today as it was many years ago before computer trading.

Honestly, no I do not think they will ever replace forex traders, but they might become an useful tools for us in future since they are capable of every data and request you make for them.
