Hi huchonok,
FXCM has a great web based platform they call, “Trading Station”. I like it and it is an easy transition from MT4 or other similar platforms.
I don’t believe it has any backtesting or built in strategy creator though.
Hi Tad,
You’re correct that the web version of Trading Station does not have backtesting on automation functionality. For that you would need to use the desktop version of Trading Station.

I have been using ctrader’s web based solution. It seems to be fast with order executions. It also has easy manipulation of SL/TP levels after order is placed. Only downfall i see at this stage is no trailing stops.
I think that trading through web apps is becoming more popular nowadays. It’s very convenient to open a web browser from any computer, use your login and password data and start trading. Now I’m searching for the most convenient and stable web app.
hi huchonok
Yes! I agreed with you trading online is much more convenient besides you can always check what is happening with your assets, funds etc. and also you are assure that everything in the web is updated.
I don’t use web platforms since the files aren’t that big anyway. Also (maybe this is a computer issue) but web platforms seem to lag a lot more.
hi!
But what if you forgot your notebook, came to smb’s place and heard financial news. you want to trade-but you don’t have time on apps installation. In such case i think it’s very convenient to use web based trading application. You simply open a web-browser and trade
FXCM is best.
And what trading software do use mostly?
There are many platforms to use online as web platform and no need any download for the trades.
swissoptionstrading is just one example.
BTW - i use the platform on mobile !
which platform is supported in i phones…
Hi Vic,
FXCM has mobile versions of our Trading Station platform for iPhone, iPad and Android.

Hello Vic84,
I use the web platform of Trading 212. It is very good. I got used to it and can’t change it. And there is an iPhone version for it. You can have a look and the screenshots here: Trading 212 - Forex & Stocks on the App Store
I have read some very positive reviews for Trading 212 as a broker and as software. So, you can try.
cTrader is also known as a good platform, but its more like L2 platform. I found it a bit difficult.
yes, online trading is good and convenient and most important advantage of online trading is transparency…
your system from where you are accessing it should support it first, as there are many web based programs…
Old thread. The only web based one I’ve tried was etoro. It was a about two years back I think. Never used it again.
Hi rPIP, did you have a specific reason why you discontinued it?
i ussually trade with MT4. i try Ctrader in a time. but i don’t like ctrader. i’m difficult to analysis with it. and i see i can’t trade with my smartphone with ctrader.
I’ve been using the Gwazy Platform, its web based & it works perfectly fine. Its not your typical trading platform, but its designed to get you in & out of positions quickly, its ideal for very short term traders.
