metals are not part of the FX market, but there are several FX brokers who offer these commodities in their trading platforms. these brokers offer news and some information about metals.
the internet is a vast library… 
But, is there anyone that trades metals here that can help me with some issues? I’ve noticed that few people here trade metals… I want to know why is that! Is there some catch in the metals market?

Metals behave very differently to FX pairs, so you need plenty of time to get used to it.
I find that the spikes are much more extreme.
Metals and oils offer good opportunities for trading. But it is necessary to understand that economical conditions of Australia directly reflects on Gold price and canadian economy is moving shoulder to shoulder with the oil price.
Thats what I need to learn! Where do i find this informations? The silver market semems to go between a very well defined line of support and resistance… But last week it went well above, and well below… And reiturned to its regular shape

Most forex brokers will also provide XAGUSD and XAUUSD for trading.
You can apply the same technical analysis to analyse the Gold and Silver charts. On top of that, watch the fundamentals. Basically, I believe Gold and Silver are undervalued right now and with Central Banks injecting more monetary stimulus, currencies will be devalued overtime. When inflation hits, value of Gold and Silver will increase tremendously.
For market news that includes Gold and Silver, you can read it from Daily Market Reports in Ask Mario Singh blog. Can’t promise they mention every day though.
