I’m a newbie of trading and Metatrader.
I have a simple question… How can I check if a EA of MT4 (.ex4) is free or usable only in the demo account (and not in real accounts)?

Its really hard to understand the meaning of your question. I would think most people use EAs that are purchased or they found in a discussion thread. If you are using an EA from one of those 100 free EAs offers, you are on your own. My guess is that,most will not run because they are out date. If you picked up one from somebody who knew somebody who knew this genius, you could very well end with malware and a world of trouble.
The more important question you should ask yourself is “what is the technical support?” for this EA. Inevitably you will have questions about how it works. Also consider what will happen with a new MT4 build or some other event that causes the EA to stop working.
I guess what I am saying is only use EAs that you purchase or from a forum thread that is active and reputable.
i think he just wants to know how to find out if an EA only runs on demo accounts or on real accounts too …
i once faced that question as well, and the only answer i found was: apply it to a real account chart and you will see if it runs or not
Ask the support team of that EA for more information. Btw, ForexProGainer offers free trial on real account. You could download it on its website.
