I have been give some good advice on 1 of my threads today that most of my indicators on my set up are lagging indicators.
Can anybody suggest an early indicator as an entry point other than S/R and candlesticks
Thanks in advance

a crystal ball.
What more could you get out than a solid candlestick pattern bouncing off s/r. Perhaps add fibonacci to look for confluence.

thanks for the help, at least theres some helpfull traders on here
I do not know of many other than PA (price action). Fast Moving Averages can work as well as all moving averages when combined with price. Pretty much if you want an indicator to be faster you need to use it as it reacts to PA. Such as using MACD to indicate OB/OS when it is above/below X value. This makes it a much faster indicator (and more useful) than simply waiting for the lines to cross or other ways people use the indicator. So ya, you can use almost any indicator in a faster way by using it as it reacts to PA.

Thats good - your on the same lines as me but i havent used the Macd for OB & OS unless it has hit the S/R .
taking this earlier as it reaches the S/R along with the PA signals and snadle signals is a good call
thanks

After looking into candlestick price action
as an early indicator , I agree that this
is helpfully but only with long term trades
I doubt if the price action patterns will
create enough of a signal for scalpers
as there isn’t enough price signal time
to show any !
