Economic Calender

Hi All!

hope we are all making loads of wonga!

I have a question.

How come there are discrepancies with the Economic Calenders?

UK.Investing.com lists a great calender, but if you look at the past results, they do not alway tally with the forthcoming one.
so, for instance;

Release Date Time Actual Forecast Previous
Aug. 05, 2014 10:00 0.4% 0.4% 0.3%
Jul. 03, 2014 10:00 0.0% 0.2% -0.2%

As you can see, the August previous is not the July’s Actual.

I see this quite alot. :frowning:
Is it just Typos?

Thanks.
.ga. :slight_smile:

Hello Goingrashy,

No, they’re not typos. Monthly economic reports often include revisions of the previous month’s data, leading to the discrepancies. Usually, the revised figure is green or red text to indicate whether the revision was for the better or the worse. Hope this helps!

Happy pippin’!
