Hello Kummi90, this reply is probably too late, but hope itāll help. Why not try to set a mental stop loss and exit when the candlestick actually closes on that specific number? If you have time to monitor your trades actively, this is a much better way to manage trades and donāt get stopped out too frequently.

AUD/NZD is trading within a tight range, and has hit a strong support level. I will be looking to take it LONG.

Never too late to learn and absorb viewpoints! Iād consider a mental stoploss perhaps a more advanced technique, as it may lead to several pitfalls! But then again, the closing of a candle might be a better approach. Thanks for input!
Throughout this past year I have been slowly mastering the use of the tick chart for fine tuning entries in to trades I would be taking regardless. This fine tuning allows for smaller Stop Loss and even better Risk:Reward. For those who have understood my trading style I have started posting these trades here:

No worries on that. I was going to buy the course, but then noticed that some are talking about M3, M6ā¦etc. type of charts and it looks like we need to go down to 3 minute and 6 minute charts for entries.
Is this correct? With a full time job, I have no way of going down m3 or m6 charts to get into trades.
I do personally go right down to the 30 second chart for entries but this is not a requirement no, I have slowly built up to being able to do that after years of experience and because I have the time to do so. There are 2 sections of my video course that concentrate on much longer term trading and only 1 section that focuses on this high speed edition.
