I am sure this has been discussed before, please point me in that direction. Is there an easy/free way to set up your email, so that your terminal will Email you once taking a trade? I downloaded Open -Trade -Alert.mq4 from this forum, so now just need to set up my terminal. The terminal is at my pc at home, would like to have a notification here at work when a trade is opened - tired of using teamviewer to check every hour or so…

No it is not easy unless you follow instructions exactly.
You cannot use an email account that enforces SSL which excludes Yahoo, Google and Microsoft. Do a search of the forums at MT4.com to get the instructions.
Thanks Codemeister. I am trying something. I have the account running on myfxbook. There is a setting where you can ask to be notified of any changes, then you have to be notified if choose, pips, dd, gain etc change. Then you also need to input when you’d like to be notified, if it is more or less than the current value. I have used absolute gain. I have asked to be notified if it is more or less than the current %. So now I should be notified when a trade is over - not really what I wanted, but close enough I suppose. I can’t say If this works, only did it Friday evening, and there were no trades then.

I have an EA which works well.
I had it made by metatraderprogrammer who are very good and not too expensive.
