Anybody have a gut feel on EURGBP? Does it get back up to December levels at .90600, or finally head south after a great run?
You’re inviting a lot of flak with an expression like “gut feel”. Most will be well intended, some will be smug, but you’ll need a thick skin anyway.
If I could step back a bit, you seem to be looking for a long-term analysis of EUR/GBP. Or at least what most if us would call long-term. In fact I’m going to say most of us amateurs could give a reasoned analysis going out either at most 20 days, or not less than 10 years, but not a clue in between.
Technical analysis gives the first answer, economics and geo-politics give the second. Between these two approaches, there’s just a big blank.
If you’re looking for an asset to hold for at least 3 months, I’d say forex is not the right choice.
