It is always advised that the best pair to start with as a beginner is EURUSD. I can choose to trade with EURUSD, but I understand XAUUSD better than any other pair.
Any advice on these two pairs for newbie as per my condition (understand XAUUSD but willing to trade with EURUSD, since it is the most suggested for newbie)?

Hmmm. 
What makes you say you understand XAUUSD more than any pair? I would typically suggest really going for the majors, but if you’ve been demo trading with a different pair for a while now, there’s also merit in trading that pair on your live account.

I think I now understand the risk in trading XAUUSD as a beginner. Its high volatility is not beginner friendly, thus it will be hard to build a strategy around it.
So, I think I will go for the majors.

I have been using EUR/USD from my first day of trading due to scalping in a proper way. this pair is really comfortable to scalping due to lowest trading spreads.
