Is this indefinitely or does this let up after a while. If it is its a weird way of communicating on a forum.
Hi Dolamite!
Most new members go through a period of post moderation were all posts have to be screened by a human moderator before going live to the website. This is a spam deterrent, as most spammers are first-time posters. After a small amount of posts are moderated and approved, your “moderated user” status goes away and posts go live to the website instantaneously.
Hopefully that explains some things for you.
I want to add one thing to what Jess said: Forex trading requires a great deal of patience and if you aren’t patient enough to establish yourself as a community member it shows something about your patience or lack thereof as a forex traders. Just some food for thought.
I didn’t get the impression he’s impatient from his post.
He’s simply making a perfectly valid enquiry how long this interception goes on for, & quite rightly so.
I also had occasion to ask them the same question, but I had to e-mail them.
It appears they’re receiving more than a fair share of enquiries regarding this issue.
Perhaps clearer communication at outset (when members receive their welcome confirmation) informing them of this default measure & the approximate longevity, will prevent members from having to raise it in the first place.
@lastbear: you know nothing about my trading experience or abilities. I think it’s fair to tell you one should be able to use due diligence instead of assumptions in all matters. This applies to the mkts as well as strangers, naturally.
