Excited to Learn and Share My Trading Journey

Hi everyone,

I’m Jachym Jerie, and I’ve been trading forex for some time now. I started with a demo account and became profitable, which gave me the confidence to go live. Since I hadn’t experienced a real losing streak on demo, I decided to go live with a smaller amount of capital (luckily). In my first 1.5 months, I lost 40% of my account but managed to recover all of it—and then some.

I’ve mainly been trading mean reversion setups, but recently I’ve been experimenting with strategies I’ve learned from Al Brooks’ course. His approach has really opened up new perspectives for me.

Throughout my life, I’ve pursued various entrepreneurial ventures and was also a professional coach, helping people with challenges like relationships. My decision to dive into trading came after my daughter was born with special needs. She requires a lot of extra care and attention, making it difficult for me to work the way I used to, which led me to find a path that allows me to be at home for her.

I’m excited to engage with all of you, learn from your experiences, and share the knowledge I’ve gathered over the years. I also document my trading journey and share real-time updates, but I’m mostly here to learn and contribute to the community. Let’s grow together as traders!

Impressive recovery from that initial loss. Love that you’re finding a way to balance trading with taking care of your daughter.

Hi @Clear_Trades, nice to know you.

Wish for your best in trading and family. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you!

Thanks! Yeah, the recovery was only possible because I stayed level headed and didn’t have any freak out.

Nice! I’m working through some Al Brooks material too. A bit slow going but that’s my fault.

Good to have you here.

His presentation style isn’t the easiest to digest.

Yea, in the videos he kinda starts out with topics he hasn’t actually discussed before, so I find myself stopping to look stuff up just so i can understand the lesson. It’s good stuff, just slow going.
