Expert Advisor in MT4?

Hi all!

I just have a quick qestion about EA’s in MT4…
Do I need to have MT4 open and running before the Expert advisor is working (after I installed it)?

Or will it still work even if MT4 is not open or the computer is shut down?

nvm, got an anwser on forexfactory.
if others got same question, then the anwser is “yes, MT4 needs to be up and running or the EA will not work”
