This may sound like a silly question but can someone tell me anything useful about trading with Expert Advisors? I received an email from FxPro this morning advertising their EA Library but don’t really know anything about automated trading or how to do it.
EAs are one way ticket to wiping out your account but on the flip side, if you do know how to code, you can create your own EA. So unless you can program your own ea would advise you to stay away from one…
Better to trade manually rather than risk it all on a code developed by someone. And hey, if the EA was that good, the developer would prefer to use it rather than sell it…just sayin’
If you have a manual sound strategy that is rule based with very clear rules and without trader discretion then you can code that into an ea and let your emotionless computer trade for you.
If something is missing then you need first to complete the requirements before thinking on EAs
EA are the best way for brokers to see how you trade and do their best to make you lose
Broker don’t want you to lose . They want you either win or break even . Their profit are from brokerage . The more you trade the more they make
If all there client lose money they have no income from brokerage
Broker like ea because they make there client open 100 trade a day even when their away from the PC and not the normal 20 trade some one mite normally make .
I fully agree with you that EA are a total waste of time, we should concentrate on making ourselves a good trader of any manual method that is likely to produce good results.
