Ex-Meta employees that ran the original Diem development at Meta are now $200m richer, and ready to get back to work on a new project trying to build out something similar to the original vision of Diem.
This is different however to the Diem assets that were sold in January of this year to Silvergate Capital. The original IP of Diem is with Silvergate Capital and Aptos doesn’t plan to utilize any of it for their new project.
