Anyway the reason people withdraw money on a grid trader like forex envy or whatever is because they go into this type of trading knowing that if the market trends hard against them it will likely blow there account. Having said that most of the time markets are range bound even when they seem like they are trading so for the most part there wouldnt be a margin call.
But again these ea’s usually can’t survive a 10 year backtest and yes they are risky so instead of going to the casino and throwing my money away I’d rather throw it on a grid trader double the account in a month or two and take the original investment out.
Martingales are great too if you have unlimited funds you cannot lose, but for most of us that is not the scenario.
As for my broker, I am currently using pepperstone and so far I am very happy. I was using hotforex but than they decided to give Americans the ax. Pepperstone doesn’t accept USA clients either. Boy we need Romney to reverse Frank-Dodd!
Johnny, Impressive results - congratualtions. I have jsut added Thor II to the EA’s I am running and wondered what ‘Risk per Trade’ you have set to get the results you have on Thor?
At the moment Kanagaroo remains my favourite (only on AU, EU is not so good), MC2 has taken some hits recently but I still think in the long run it will be profitable. Smart FX rev 11 is a strong improvement from previous version. Also the Hyper EA is performing consistently.
Thor is my first scalper (Master Scalper is longer durations) so I am interested to see how it goes.

Presume this is the results from your old razor account and you have now stopped it and transferred to Edge? I have transferred to to Edge and found that whilst the spreads are good the tick rate is not so good meaning perfomance has potentially suffered more than the gains from marginally tighter spreads.

what about has anybody tried Blessing 3? I am only just testing it now and so far it looks good, espcially for a free EA. I am testing it on GBP/JPY using the set file uploaded to their website, JTalon. So far it has given me a 2.83% gain this week.
Who do you guys use as a broker for the scalper EAs? There is not many brokers that can be trusted with tight stop losses, so curious to hear some recommendations.

I used to run blessing II back in the day. It was a love/hate thing but in the end I couldn’t live with the risk. I will check out b3 out of curiosity
