Hello everyone,
Just been introduced by a very kind person I follow on a platform. He suggested I join and here I am.
42 single parent, medic by profession and full time mother when not working. My son is on the AS (ASD) which means I need to spend less time at work and more time with him. Luckily as a front liner the school can kindly accommodate him during the 9-4.
Missing work means less income and when a relative suggested it last year I contemplated but trying the demo account I felt I am ready to take the proper step, learn and grow a steady income so that I can confidently say it could be my new full time work from home, enabling me to be home for my boy.
Apologies if the intro was long but now u know much about me
Hi Sophiae, welcome to this education forum. Note education, which could take as long as graduating as a medic to become proficient. it’s that difficult and takes many months of hard work.
Also, trading on a demo account negates the emotional response that would be present trading a live account - so take it very slow, by controlling risks, outcomes, and money management. Patience and constant discipline to follow your system to the letter at all times.
Try and ensure your trades to be a ‘good trades’ whatever the outcome, which will contain losses. This gives you more satisfaction that you’re doing it the right way.
Finally, there is no guaranteed outcomes, but I would suggest you cut losing trades short of the S/L - because there are better profitable trades awaiting. And start of with a 1:1 risk and reward pattern, which for newbies is more profitable - common sense will tell you why.
