Hey there. I was wondering what are some good books to read for a beginner?
Something that isn’t too old and is still relevant.
I mainly trade the major currencies and sometimes indices such as GER30 and DJ30
I would love a book that has all the basics and includes some strategies.

All depends on the state of development as the trader. But you cannot harm yourself in any way by reading “Trading for Living” by Elder, Alexander Elder ;). My opinion : Any one trading should read this one at some point of their adventure.

You can read books but also you can visit stockcharts.com and read all about charting and technical analyses too.
Have you tried the pipschool here?
Totally free and laid out in bite-size chunks, better than any book or course I have come across
